Well if Mama Rosalia can live a very long fruitful life in Ecuador…her secret must have been the Andes ice cream she made! She opened up a hand made ice cream shop more than 100 years ago (since 1895). Whilst taking great photographs and a lovely walking tour of the Andes town of Imbaburra in Ecuador, we journeyed to Rosalia’s to try the most incredible hand made ice cream.

It is made in a most unique way, the super friendly staff hand mix it in a bowl that is surrounded by ice to create the cool temperature
