Cotacachi real estate is varied enough that if you want … and many do, it is still possible to pick up a country cottage with good size garden or a sizeable piece of land.

The property in the photos below belongs to Norma Armas who recently performed a candling treatment on 8 clients simultaneously at Meson de las Flores and I’m still searching for a photo!

Norma lives in the Cotacachi country cottage below …

As you can see there are two buildings, one is her therapy center and the other is the cottage where her family lives. The land is 3/8 of an acre and lies between Cotacachi and Otavalo.

Two years ago I went with a guest at Meson de las Flores for a treatment with Norma. Apart from ear candling she also has eucalyptus steam box baths and you alternate between the steam and a clod shower. This treatment is absolutely wondeful but not for the timid. When it comes to all things cold then count me out. I think my screams could be heard back in Cotacachi.

The country cottage itself has 4 bedrooms and the asking price is $70,000 for all … this normally means try your luck with an offer!
