Hello everyone, my name is Brent Carlson and I’m a former high end home builder from Gold Beach, Oregon.  I came to Ecuador over 3 1/2 years ago to escape the deteriorating economy and to fulfill my dream of living on a quiet warm beach eating fresh fruits, vegetables and fish.  After a lot of travel and research I found Ecuador had the lowest prices for beachfront along with the lowest cost of living imaginable.  Couples can live here on less then $900 per month including cable tv and eating out at lots of fun restaurants.

When you can buy a plate of 10 shrimp and rice including soup and fresh juice for only $2.50 why not? 

Not long after I arrived in Ecuador I met my soul mate Elsa Narvaez in Quito and we have been side by side ever since.   After 1 year we were married and settled on a beautiful secluded beach between Bahia de Caraquez and Canoa.  We built our dream home and then decided to build a beautiful infinity pool along with 6 Condominiums to share the upkeep of the pool.

What we didn’t expect was to have a waiting list of buyers for more once we finished our Playa Dorada project.

So we bought another beautiful secluded lot with over 200 feet of ocean front and now have 15 more condos under construction just 1 Km. north of Playa Dorada, in two projects Playa del Sol and Playa Azul.

Playa Azul has a total of twelve 1,000 square foot two bedroom, two bath units, right at the ocean edge.

Playa Azul also has a third building that offers 1,600 square foot three bedroom, three bath units.   All of Playa Azul has been pre sold except one 1,600 square foot penthouse on the third floor still available.

This unit can be custom finished with a gourmet kitchen complete with dishwasher and garbage disposal. Items you rarely find here in Ecuador. All our condos are engineered to withstand a 7.5 earthquake and our American style septic system’s accept toilet tissue, another rarity down here.

This property has over 218 feet of ocean front.  Also we are offering a third building with two bedrooms and two baths with over 1,300 square feet.  This is a brand new floor plan with indoor laundry room and extra large balconies. There will just be three of these units,  one on each floor and will be selling for $146,000 each.

Playa del Sol will have the same quality 17 X 33 foot infinity pool as Playa Azul and Playa Dorada.

The El Paseo Shopping Center just across the bridge in Bahia will feature quality clothing, a full size grocery store, food court, cinemas and a large hardware store. Life here just gets better every day!

It use to take us 2 hours waiting for the car ferry some day’s and then we had to still drive one and a half hours to Manta to do our major shopping. This will all be a distant memory when we have our modern shopping center just 15 minutes from our three projects near Canoa.
